Day 52 of my 365 Project: A little weirdness going on with the sign over the crosswalk here. And with the crosswalk itself, for that matter.

Day 51 of 365: It’s that time of year again – the time when my very favorite holiday candy appears in stores. Mmm, yummy chocolaty creamy Cadbury Eggs.

Day 50 of my 365 Project: I spent part of today cleaning out and cleaning up my library/spare room. It’s probably my favorite room, but it tends to accumulate stuff that is in transit (donating, sending to friends, needs to be sorted, etc.) With all the “stuff” gone, it’s back to it’s usual relaxing, peaceful self.

Day 49 of my 365 Project: Due to the untimely death of my giant media server earlier this week, I spent today playing musical computer hardware to get all the drives into a working PC. The drives (all 10 of them!) fit just fine. The cables, not so much.

Day 48 of my 365 Project: A coworker keeps a candy jar on his desk at the office. Normally, this jar is empty. But today, it was filled to overflowing with the “correct” kind of Valentine conversation hearts. Because apparently while nearly any kind of conversation heart is considered “edible” these are “the best.” Or so I’ve been told.

Day 47 of my 365 Project: A gray, dreary, not even rainy day here today. A good day to get out the macro lens and play. This is a set of 1/4″ silver flower earrings. They’re a lot tinier than they look in this picture.

Day 46 of my 365 Project: Another sunny day off today, so I stopped by a little botanical garden while running some errands. This tree (rhododendron?) was in nearly full bloom, wonderfully lit by the sunshine, but with a few hints of this morning’s rain left behind.

45/365 – Mmm, Cinnamon Roll

Day 45 of my 365 Project: On my trip through Pike Place Market last night, I stopped by one of the bakeries and picked up a cream cheese frosted cinnamon roll. I was REALLY good, and didn’t devour it immediately. So this morning, I put it in the microwave for a few seconds to make it nice and warm and gooey, then I savored the wonderfulness of cream cheese, sugar, cinnamon, and sweet roll.

Darn it, now I’m hungry again.

Day 44 of my 365 Project: February in Seattle means a 99% chance of rain. But combine the rain with our unseasonably warm weather, and you end up with flowers blooming early. Look closely at the raindrops on this bud, and you can see the reflection of more raindrops.

43/365 – Computer Engineer Barbie is Chained to her Desk

Day 43 of my 365 Project: Day 43 of my 365 Project: Oh, sweet irony. When a coworker found out Computer Engineer Barbie existed, he immediately thought of me. Someone got one for me, and just like I’m chained to my desk working today, she’s chained to her desk cause I can’t get her loose from the dang packaging! At least I have a better view than she does.
